His Story
Pastor Marvin E. Barner Jr. is a native of Hopkinsville, KY. He currently serves as the Senior Pastor and Teacher of The Shiloh Baptist Church in Chester, Pennsylvania as well as the National Overseer of Youth and Young Adults in The Lifted Reformation of Christian Churches.
Pastor Barner is the co-founder of Hope Dot Com, Evansville, Indiana. Hope Dot Com is an outreach ministry dedicated in the states of Indiana, Tennessee, Ohio, and soon Pennsylvania. Their mission is to help feed the homeless, provide life training skills for felons, clothing for the less fortunate, job placement, and court system advocacy for juveniles and most recently the G.R.O.W. (God Rearranging Our Ways) initiative, which has over 1000 students graduating from the Corrections to Computers program.
Pastor Barner is married to the former Pauletta Wilcox. They have three children, Brian, Kaitlynn Amanda, Khyla Elizabeth, and two grandchildren, Brian Jr. and Maliyah (Deceased 2013).
